BREAKING: Rubio Tells Supporters not to Vote for Him in Ohio, Instead Vote For John Kasich

 

Huge things happening on the campaign trail today, as it appears the spokesman for the Marco Rubio campaign went on television and asked folks to vote for John Kasich in Ohio.

 

What does this mean you ask?

 

It means we could be seeing the beginning of a major play to take Trump out.

:Cruz’s campaign, after a lot of bluster about going all in in Florida admits it was all a head fake. They had one event scheduled for today with Sean Hannity in Orlando that was previously scheduled and will be nationally focused, not Florida focused. Then Cruz is bailing on Florida.

 

Cruz’s campaign takes down its Florida ads. The Cruz Super PACs follow suit.

 

Marco Rubio revs up his Florida presence and is nowhere to be found in Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina.

 

The Cruz campaign redirects all its resources to those three states, with Cruz rallies, ad buys, GOTV etc.

 

Now Rubio’s spokesman goes on national television and says Rubio supporters should vote for John Kasich in Ohio.

 

Kasich is going all in in Ohio and ceding Illinois, Missouri, and North Carolina to Cruz. In fact,

Kasich suddenly has no events in Illinois

, and only one event in Pennsylvania after the Ohio primary.

 

In other words, Kasich is now only campaigning in Ohio; Rubio is only campaigning in Florida; and Cruz is avoiding events in Florida and Ohio.

 

 

Add to this the fact that conservative publication National Review is now backing Cruz and it becomes quite clear there has been some sort of deal made between the three remaining candidates to take down The Donald.

 

The real question, from a political standpoint, is whether or not this strategy is too little too late?

I need a program.

There's no doubt it's a major play. A last ditch effort. Too late? We'll see Tuesday.

Rubio was saying last night that a vote for Cruz or Kasich in Florida was a vote for Trump. That those supporters need to vote for him so they can stop Trump.

Hopefully , all of this backfires in their faces. I want to see Trump be the GOP kingpin.

I don't disagree, and it's just sad. People are drawn to a candidate for the highest office in the land, not in spite of his lack of knowledge, but because of it. That's a quality intelligent people want in the person making decisions for our entire country? That's mind-boggling and terrifying IMO.

It is but it's a reflection that what we've had is not working. Some people are desperate.

Kasich's camp responded quickly letting everyone know they would not need Sen Rubio's help.

Depends on what your definition of political knowledge is, you see it as a positive while Trumps supporters see it as a negative.

The whole Trump and Cruz popularity rise is kinda like when you get hungry and you may not know what you want, but you for sure know what you don't want. The republican voters don't want Washington establishment, they want something different. This is why Bush, Graham and to a degree Rubio have never been in the race.
