Bryce Harper slams "Unwritten Rules"

If they did more of this stuff, people might actually watch baseball.

Agree. How could you not be drawn to this? That place was in a frenzy..

That's exactly what I want to see. If a guy destroys a 400-foot bomb, let him flex and do whatever he pleases. And if the other team gets mad, let them talk trash back. That would be so much better than showing no emotion.

The Bautista home run and bat flip in Game 5 was one of the greatest things I've seen in sports. Still get chills when I watch it.

Then you gotta love this.

This crap isnt needed. Dont make yourself as a player bigger than the game.

And the winner of tool of the week goes to...Goose Gossage

He needs to get back to watching Bull Durham and collecting late 70's and early 80's baseball cards.

If a Pitcher doesn't like how a Batter acts after taking him deep, get him out next time.

If a Pitcher is talking trash after striking out a Batter, well shut him up by getting a hit next time.

Baseball is the only sport (I don't watch Hockey except during the Olympics) where you are expected to intentionally hurt someone if they hurt your feelings.

Can you imagine if Steph dropped a 3, did a little shimmy or something else to celebrate and then next trip down he get's punched in the face?

Gronk scores a TD does a little TD dance and on his next play someone punched him in the junk?

Baseball players and fans think it's the right thing to do to hit someone with a 90 MPH pitch in the ribs, on the wrist or in the middle of the back...all because someone hurt their feelings by not running fast enough around the bases or for staring for 3 seconds at a 450 ft homerun.

Some Baseball players/fans need to get over themselves.

Because one like isn't enough.

No doubt.

Great movie! Seeing the PBR the Walt character is drinking reminds me of being in a Covington bar quite a few years ago and ordering a Coors, bartender got this scowl on his face and said, "HEY!, we don't serve none of that non union bull-you know what in here!" That's when I said, "give everybody in here a PBR!" Sorry, for getting off track.

I have no problem with plunking a batter if need be. You just have to do it the right way. It's no different than a hard foul in basketball when a player crosses a certain line.

With that, some of the unwritten rules are a bit much. No bunting when there's a no-hitter is one that jumps out to me.

No doubt.

Ironically, that's the same face I make when I taste PBR.

throwing at someone is a cowardly act. It's nothing more than a sucker punch.
