The Best Receivers in NKY 2016

Featured Replies

If so it is because Cooper doesn't have the QB to throw it to Hendrix. Best receiver up here this past season as a junior, expect nothing to change next year as a senior as he will only get faster and stronger.

Borchers will get him the ball. He knows how to use his weapons.

I agree. Kid is to good not to center your passing game around, just saying that they have to replace their QB again so got to find someone to get the ball to him. Borchers does a fantastic job of putting kids in the right places to win. He and staff seem to be doing things the right way out there.

Only thing that will hurt Hendrix is he needs some other receivers to step up and help him out.

Someone did their homework

Nice to see that he can make posts that are worth reading sometimes.

According to some I don't know anything about football.

If football knowledge is defined by cutting and pasting stats from MaxPreps and posting links to highlight films on Hudl- then yeah, I guess you have knowledge.

FYI- Cutting and pasting stats from MaxPreps and posting links to Hudl doesn't count as knowledge.

Especially when in one thread a comment was made "3 receivers with over 30 catches each!" and then in this thread posts the stats for those 3 receivers and low and behold there weren't 3 over 30.

The thread title is about top receivers not me!

Ryle returns a bunch of good receivers also.

TE Jake Long 6'0 205 pounds 35 catches 479 yards 4 tds

Bryce Ashley 5'10 172 pounds 38 catches 618 yards 5 tds

Aaron O'hara 6'2 180 pounds 4 catches 47 yards 1 td

Coach Engler and Tanner Morgan like to spread the love out there. Running Backs will get some catches. I look for Aaron O'hara to have a bunch more touches. A couple of Soph's Easton Pilyer and Zach Rytlewski taking over for Seniors Jaret Pogliano and Grant Beagle. Morgan will break 10,000 career yards this year. Plenty of boys will be catching the ball.

Many teams tried to shadow him and take his threat away, he burnt a bunch of them. Obviously SK did the best job on him.

Bryan Station did the best job against him limiting him to just one catch primarily due to the tremendous pass rush giving the Cooper QB virtually no chance to throw the ball.

Hendrix running that post/corner route was a thing of beauty. Every team knew it was coming but they couldn't stop it and Brown was great at hitting him on that route. Of course, setting it all up was his speed and threat of running past everyone on the fade or post routes....and just when they were sitting on those routes BAM he slams on the breaks for the post/corner!

Holy Cross Jaylin Williams 6'2 190lbs 19 catches 352 yds 18.5 avg 6 td's.

They did the first game, I believe he had over 100 and a TD against SK the playoff game but don't have the stats in front of me. If he wasn't over 100 he couldn't have been under by much

First game Hendrix had 4 catches 44 yards and 3 return yards. Second game he had 5 catches 64 yards 1 td.
