Harrison County is always a tough foe. Montgomery County will be improved. What about Mason County? Seems that I see a lot of talk about them on this site recently.

How is Ohmer at Scott? And Williams at Mason County? Both are good basketball players and even better at baseball? Williams is one of the top 5 pitchers in the region

Everything I have heard says he has had a great offseason and is ready to go this year, I know that the Mason County team has a group of seniors this year who are extremely confident and feel good about their chances.

Who's a better pitcher than Williams in the region?

Bracken will be in the mix. 39th district champs last season with the entire team coming back. Should be the favorites in the 39th.

Scott will look to keep the success they had last season spill over to this season.

Harrison lost their best player from last season to graduation but return a very talented core group.

Mason also returns several players from last season and has probably the preseason best pitcher in the region Darren Williams coming back. They will look to be a good challenge for Bracken.

As for the rest I do not know who back and who is not. One would assume Campbell will be a player come post season, as will GRC and MoCo. Bourbon is always in the mix in baseball as well.

Should be another fun season in the 10th, and like the basketball season should be a lot of parity across the region with a few teams capable of taking the crown

Gus Garrison stands out to me. Especially being left handed I think puts him above Williams

Pendleton graduated 8 starters last year. Gonna be a long year for the Cats

Ohmer and Trame from Scott will be a very formidable 1-2 punch, and both should be topping out in the mid 80's Ohmer has a filthy curve and both stay around the plate and don't walk many. CJ Seay will be one of the better (if not the best) #3's in the region and has some big game experience.

GRC will return the majority of its starters from last year's 40th District Champion and 10th Region Semifinalist team. The Cardinals lose Jordan Williams and Luke Sharrock to graduation; however, Peyton Dove joins the team as an outfielder and pitcher for his senior season.

The Cardinals travel to Georgia during Spring Break to take on 4 teams from Ohio, including 2 large schools from the Columbus Metro area - Olentangy and Olentangy Liberty.

I've heard people say Harrison County will be down, do you think that's true?

Harrison Co may win 25 games like they did last year because that schedule is weak again.

Mason County's 2017 class is very good. Nic Nelson is around mid-80s. Jantzen Smith is a stud outfielder. Will Porter is coming off of a terrible car wreck but should be playing. Porter's a MIF/RHP in the low 80s. Jerran Jones is a STUD behind the plate. All of them played on a travel team a few years ago that USSSA had ranked 5th in the state at one point. Should be a good next few years for MC

Harrison is sophomore and junior loaded. They have a lot of young kids that are inexperienced but have one of the best pitchers in the region. They aren't as talented as in years past but I never count out a Mac Whitaker coached team. He will have his team ready to go in May.
