Has anyone put UK as a top 5 contender? I don't think anyone can put a top 5 contender list together without having huge question marks about whatever teams they have in that list.

 

Is UK going to be a favorite going into it, nope. Is UK a team that can very easily get hot at the right time and make a run, yes.

I can't even defend UK fans anymore cause there are too many like uk#1fan and they make the rest of us look bad. Are you sure you weren't watching the game at Rhinegeist yeaterday? Exactly! I love UK but can't stand our fan base half of the time. Which is why I hate when people say people are just jealous of Uks success and they are haters. Most people hate UK because of our fan base not the team.

Perhaps it's the folks that I surround myself with but living in the Louisville area there are two types of Cal haters , the ones who hate Cal because they're UL fans. That's fine, I expect it. The others are UK fans that don't like Cal as a person. To each his own! But nobody really hates Cal because he's doing a poor job! There must be underlying issues.

Count me as someone who thinks the FT epidemic under Cal is unwarranted/ridiculous. You have Briscoe who touches the ball a lot and shoots under 50% and Lee shooting under 40%. O was at an 8th grade game tonight and both teams combined didn't miss 6 FTs. So what the deal. If you are a D1 college player there is just zero excuse not to shoot at least 50%. As far as Matt Jones goes, he's a die hard UK fan who is trying, almost forcing his way into the role of the late great Cawood Ledford only with a louder mouth. Hanging up on loyal fans for "gasp" criticizing the obvious? How dare they? Pretty bush league, on at 1 A.M. DJ Stuff there

 

Absolutely no excuse for college players hitting 30, 40 , and 50 per cent at the charity stripe. I've seen middle school girls do much better. Shouldn't be on the team if you can't do better than that.

I get what you are saying, but that is like saying a person who can hit 90% from the line should automatically be on the team then, even if they don't do anything else well.

If you are playing UK and trailing or in need of disrupting UK's flow, I would go to the last guy on the bench and implement the Hack-a-Briscoe or Hack-A-Lee.
