John Kasich is the best candidate D or R

Exhibit A for bringing down the two party dominance.

I doubt if I live to see it although this election should bring hope.

The GOP has been heading for a split since the Tea Party Revolution. Trump's candidacy is going to be the braking point. One party just cannot represent grass roots conservatism and (Amoral) multi national corporate greed.

When he was speaking in the debate last night about immigration, it was kinda funny..to me. His voice had this tone like "am I the only sane one in the room and I am going to lose because I am trying to talk sensibly?"

Popularity my but! This about middle class America getting screwed for the last 50 yearts and finally getting a candidate that expresses their RAGE!

I too prefer Bernie Sanders. Good to have you on board.

You prefer a socialist who is going to take away your right to a gun?

Did you take a history class in school?

Well in the post you quoted I was referring to the candidate who best addresses the inequities afforded the middle class. The guy who is attacking the cause of the disdain and more than just "expressing RAGE." If I'm being completely honest, my right to a gun couldn't be further down the list of issues that are important to me. Ironically though Hilary has previously been attacking Sanders because she views him as too sympathetic to gun owners.

Unfortunately, just as Kasich is my favorite Republican left, Bernie, the only Democrat I would vote for, probably doesn't stand a chance at getting the nomination so I'm not even going to address the socialism thing. I have a feeling it would fall on deaf ears anyways.

I didn't take any history classes in college though because I had too much AP credit. It's probably a good thing though since most professors are liberal.

Hyperbolic fear-mongering: No one is taking away your right to your gun. Not one candidate. None of them have a shot at it. Obama doesn't. Hillary doesn't. Bernie doesn't. In the United States I'm not sure Jesus Christ could take our right to guns.

You should get to know your teammates better...

With a complete disregard for the U.S. Constitution and the fundamental rights of Georgia residents, state Representative Mary Margaret Oliver (D-82) introduced House Bill 731 which would ban commonly owned semi-automatic firearms and require their confiscation.

Sure and there was a congresswoman in Ken-tuck wanted to limit Viagra but it ain't happening.

Not as good as Gov Regan.

Unless it was unbelievably clandestine, with zero media coverage whatsoever, Donald Regan was never a governor.

I would vote for Kasich.

My only concern...as he is from Ohio....does he drive slowly in the left lane?

Good point. Wouldn't surprise me if he turns every conversation by to Craig Krenzel or Archie Griffin.
