I say Danville Vs. Boyle Co.!

Also Bowling Green Vs. Warren Central is right up there!

Highlands/Cov Cath is up there.

Beechwood/NCC is a great one also.

Locally yes, but I wouldn't rank it as a top rivalry since they are in different classes and thus no post-season matchups possible.

Man, that's been a great game these past few years!

Mayfield vs. Paducah Tilghman, began in 1911. Lots of famous stories come from this rivalry, the credit card story, the clock story, the game where a single player scored all the points (3 Mayfield, Paducah 2, In Ripleys Believe it or Not). Even the first game, both teams historical records show a winning record. I would argue this is the biggest rivalry in the state, it made it to ESPN once, lol.

Lexcath and Scott county seems to be a close battle every year between the two.

I know that one used to be a huge rivalry. It was featured nationally in the Magazine section of the Sunday paper once back in the late 80's. I was wondering how it was now myself. Has Tilghman's change in status from an elite program to a solid program affected the rivalry. (No disrespect to Tilghman intended but previously it seemed as though they were in the semis or the finals all the time).

The last time I remember Tilghman being a power house was 2003. The only road block they had was a very well coached Chuck Smith Boyle Co.team!Seems to me they still have not recoverd from that loss!

You know, I am not sure, the attendance is not what it used to be for sure, depends on which stadium it is at if you ask me. It seems to do better at Paducah, makes sense though, larger area.

Yeah, I guess if we are talking about all time rivalries, this one would be up there, but if we are talking about recent rivalries, I am not sure.
