Final from Brooksville.

Wow!

Take nothing away from Bracken, but not what many expected. Love to here the story on this one.

Tied after 3 Mason goes on a 9-0 run. Bracken follows with a 7-0 run. Bracken had a chance to tie as time expired but an untimely turn over sealed the win for Mason

You can't count anyone out come tournament time!

Amen!!!

Sounds like a great game, but this should have been the district final not semi-final game as this district is one of three I believe in the entire state that doesn't seed. Shame on the coaches and AD's that don't make it mandatory to seed. Reward teams for the regular season and not teams that are not deserving of being in the regional.

How many times are people gonna complain about this district not seeding? Get over it already

Nothing good to say except it was a win. Bracken had a game plan and executed it perfectly. Mason would double Cummins and she hit open team mates and they hit shots. Mason built a 49-40 lead and took some ill advised shots and costly turnovers. Survive and advance at this time of year.

It is disgraceful!!!!

Nice effort by the Lady Bears. Just came up a bit short.

Impressive! Glad to see that Coach Bradshaw didn't subscribe to the "death sentence" statements being bantered about.

Looks like they nearly got a commute.

Hats off to the Lady Bears! In a game they were given zero chance of winning, nearly pulled off the upset.

Bracken played well and Mason played mediocre. MC missed several shots around the bucket and seemed to turn the ball over at poor times. Give credit to Bracken, they gave MC all they wanted.

I don't think MC played BC the same way they played the first time. I don't recall seeing nearly as much double teaming of Cummins this time. To her credit, she didn't force much and found her teammates whenever MC helped to cut off her drives.

I wish Bailey Cummins much success in her future. She's very deserving of 10th Region player of the year and had a great career at Bracken County.

There is always a Villanova or NC State type of game and team in the tournament. Last night that was Bracken and they fought to the end. It doesn't matter if you win by 30 or 1, its a win and you survive and advance. I agree that Bailey Cummins is very deserving of player of the year! I also believe that McNutt from Mason County is the unsung hero! Loved watching her composure in a big time, tight basketball game. She basically said saddle up team, lets finish this out.
