OR in an alternate reality where coaches are just coaches and its debatable how much above or below 50% of the credit should go to them, in 2009 a really talented group of players came through Marion and won 11 games. Hopefully MC can have another run of kids like that.

No doubt about it. The kids on that team were great and deserve every bit of credit. The line had two monsters on it that some of the best to play at MC. The backfield was led by two 1,000 rushers that very physical. The defense was as tough as they come. It was a special group.

You are correct Harry. From Nelson County, his dad was a hecuva basketball coach and with ties to the area he should be a long term guy! Tough road ahead for a few years, but no doubt he will do well over the long haul!

Did the superintendent at Marion ever move to Marion? I heard she was supposed to move to Marion per her contract. Kind of silly to me since the principal also does not live in Marion. Will the new coach move to Lebanon.
