January 28, 201610 yr Obama was all about the bailouts. Companies should be allowed to fail. Wait though, Obama couldn't let the automakers go under, look at all the union votes the Dems might lose. Reagan bailed out Chrysler in the 80's. The 2008 bailout was a cross presidency mistake kind of like NAFTA with Bush 1 and Clinton. W admin started it and the Obama followed through. Our government is guilty of socialism when it is convenient for big corporations. Big corporations today aren't as apt to repay the favor.

January 28, 201610 yr Your version of socialism is communism. They are pretty different. Comparable to saying facism and capitalism are similar in economic theory. Socialism does control some large corporations such as: auto industry and resource based industries. When you think about it our government was in control of the auto industry with its recent bailout, and could be in control of the oil industry if an oil bailout is on the horizon. Bailouts = socialism. Capitalism would let that business fail. We would all be driving Fords after 2008. The great thing is we can pull what works best from all systems if we are intelligent and don't "build a wall" between us and different ideas. I don't think anyone is calling for all out Socialism. Universal healthcare, post secondary educational opportunities for all, and stock market regulations that don't gamble away our economy. WRONG!!

Just my opinion, and I may be wrong, but it would take a lady with some self-esteem issues to be an ardent supporter of Trump. Probably the same kind of women that take a lot of mental and/or verbal abuse for years and they begin to think its not that bad or that some women deserve that treatment. Trump says he cherishes women. Others will have to judge if his words and actions equate to "cherish."

What I was trying to say is that there will be a few men who vote for him JUST BECAUSE of his views on women. He is obviously getting a lot of the "we're mad and we're not gonna take it anymore" crowd, the xenophobe crowd, and a couple of other crowds as well.
