January 21, 201610 yr A lot of us own/shoot guns on here. How about a gun get together? Find somewhere to meet...a range, or somebody with a lot of land where we can shoot...everybody bring their guns and ammo, and we have a blast...literally. Its a great way to shoot something that maybe you haven't had a chance to, while also having the fun that goes with a BGP meet and greet event. If we can have it at someone's farm, maybe even make it a bbq/shooting event? Of course if outside this would need to be planned for warmer weather. Sounds like a plan to me. How about it? Anyone have the land to do something like this on outside?
January 21, 201610 yr Everytime I see someone mention shooting guns I think of laying in the prone position in a driving rainstorm during AR qualifications/certifications. And the closest I have come to shooting a gun since I retired was recently getting my 40 out and doing a function check and putting the gun through some dry cycles making sure it is ready if called upon.
