September 9, 201610 yr Harry Buffalo in Cleveland. Husband had honey cornbread and I had French onion soup Husband had chicken tenders a d waffle fries. I had fried Cod fish and waffle fries and it was good.
September 10, 201610 yr Daughter back in town this week, she is between clinical rotations (final year in Bellarmine's DPT program). She leaves for Nashville this morning. So she requested dinner at her favorite Maysville restaurant last night. Pasquale's it was.
September 10, 201610 yr On our way home we met some friends and I finally got to eat at Walt's Hitching Post. It was wonderful. Huge thick steak cook med-rare. I tried their hot slaw with bacon it was very good.

September 12, 201610 yr While spending sometime in Morehead KY this weekend we enjoyed Melini Cucina. The Feta Cheese Pizza was very good and friggin ginormous. The 18" can easily feed 4. Per Mrs. C1 the Chicken Alfredo was midland. The beer and wine selection were a pleasant surprise. 4 draft beers, soft drinks, a very large pizza and entree later for $48 including 20% tip. I'll take it! :bunny:

September 15, 201610 yr Ramsey's in Lexington (Brighton) today. Char-broiled pork chops with red sauce, grilled corn on the cob, tomato/cucumber/onion salad for me. Chicken and noodles, greens, cottage cheese and tomato for the missus. $25 including tip. In the immortal words of Ahnold - I'll be back.

Unfortunately, the place has changed hands a couple of times since Bill Melton, the original owner died. I find now that you roll the dice. Being a ribs man, I always go the ribs route. Sometimes they are still great and bring back memories, and sometimes they need some work. Glad you enjoyed your steak, and hopefully had some time to take in the ambience of Walt's.
