Well for the 2nd time in 3 games the Bengals held them to under 20 points. Shoot it would have only been 15 points if it wasn't for a fumble at the end. The Bengals defense kept them in that game all game, and you do realize one of the big plays the Steelers did have was when the Bengals blitzed and Antonio Brown catches it in the middle of the field and then runs all the way down the field to the 7 yard line setting up their only touchdown. Besides that play they basically took Antonio Brown and Heath Miller away and that was by not blitzing. The Bengals defense was 11th in the NFL and the 2nd best scoring defense in the NFL. The way the Bengals play defense worked very well for them and that was not by blitzing. As mentioned before the Bengals weren't even a good team anyways when they did blitz. Your whole blitz theory is weak considering the Bengals held the Steelers to under 20 again, and when one of the big plays they did give up was when they did blitz lol. They should have only given up 15 points, and even with that when you only give up 18 points you should still win the game.

I think the much larger issue for the Bengals going into 2016 is another consistent pass rusher on the DL. We need to do a better job pressuring the passer rushing our front four.

I read a quote where Zampese said Cincy felt like home and even though he had other offers in the past, the Bengals and the Brown family made him feel like he was a part of something here and that made him want to stay. Guy seems to be the opposite of most other coaches in the league.

Peko is just not that guy and Brandon Thompson may leave as a FA. Simms is a FA but probably will re-sign, but he is basically a run stopper. The only ways to beat Brady, Ben and Rodgers is pressure up the middle. IT has to come from the front 4, they eat blitzes alive.

IT has to come from the front 4, they eat blitzes alive. Agreed! I do feel like he did a better job this year than last year. It probably helped that he had Vontez Burfict for 10 games this year, rather than the 2 full games he had him last year. It seemed like early in his first year as DC he was trying to be his own DC and get a little bit away from what Zimmer did and was blitzing a lot more than Zimmer did and the defense struggled mightily. Then he started to go back to doing what Zimmer did and did it all this year too and it helped. I do agree that they need another pass rusher DT. I have wanted them to cut Peko the last few years, but they won't ever do that it seems.
