It snowed pretty good on us the one time we went to Paoli to ski. I'll never do that again without checking the radar.

I like snow about as well as I enjoyed the end of the Bengals/Steelers game and you probably know how I felt about that.

Roads are fine so far. Made the trek from Taylor Mill to Madiera in the normal time.

I hit the worst of it halfway here. And you're right. It really, really drains me. By the time I get to work, I just want to turn around and go back home and find a new job. :lol2: I think the absolute worst part is never knowing what to expect. There is no one sure fire way to get here that won't cause me stress in the snow and ice. You think you have it figured out which counties maintain their roads the best,.or which roads are priorities, and it never works out. Or, the pattern shifts and what you thought you were driving around is now the eye of the storm. And then you have to play the guessing game all over to just get back home.

Yeah...that road to Paoli sucks in the snoe. :lol2: assuming you took 150 from I-64 through Palmyra up to Paoli.

So, the trip home was ok...and not ok. The side of 150 going south had lots of long stretches of nothing but ice, and I almost took out 2 deer as I hit one patch. The lady I ride share with never even saw them coming, and if I'd have hit them, she'd have had 2 in her lap.

 

Speaking of her...she won't even drive if there is snow called for. Yet, she can't se to understand why I don't respond when she points out there is ice on the road, or how heavy the snow is falling, or how you can't see the road. I mean, REALLY?! Just sit over there and be quiet please! I don't want to hear how stressful this is for you, not how you made chocolate chip cookies to give to the lady that works the front desk of our building....and you aren't bringing any for me! PLEASE just be quiet when I'm stressed out! PLLLEEEAASSSEEE!
