The Republicans, particularly Tea Party members, want less government. They want the Feds to have less power and return more power to the states, where people have more of a say in the laws that govern them.

You are playing checkers when you need to be playing chess when talking about the "number" of EO's. One overreaching EO (like Obama's immigration EO or gun EO) is far worse than 100 EO's when used the way they are supposed to be used...
