I know the average person prefers the Super Bowl over the college football national championship, but how about you all. For me at least I love the college football championship WAY more than the Super Bowl. I just prefer college sports over pro sports. But with that said being a young Bengals fan I'm not old enough to remember them playing in the Super Bowl, where as I am an Ohio State fan they have been there several times in my lifetime. I'm curious as to if other feel this way as well.

Year in and year out I like the CFP/Championships better. I also like CFB slightly better than the NFL.

Can't remember the last time I actually watched the CFP/BCS Championship. Just don't care enough about college football.

I can't remember the last time I didn't watch the Super Bowl. Just a far superior product IMO.

Like I said though since your a UK and Patriots fan you would naturally gravitate towards the Super Bowl.

Definitely the Super Bowl for me.

I watched last year because Grandpa loves Ohio State and I like to chat with him about it. Not sure I'll be watching this year.

Don't believe I've ever missed watching the Super Bowl.

I'm a Michigan fan when it comes to college football, but I don't agree. College football has just never been all that important to me. Didn't even watch the Michigan game this past week, had no desire to.

I make a point to be in front of a TV when NFL games are on, whether it's the Patriots or two teams I have no rooting interest in. I tend to do the same thing with major college basketball games as well. I've never once done it with college football. :idunno:

I'm almost the exact opposite...I'll watch just about any college football game, partially because it isn't cookie cutter football like the NFL. There are so many varieties of offense and defenses ran it is interesting to watch how different systems match up. I'll watch NFL, but I'll only pay really close attention if it is a team that I like or I have Fantasy Points on the line. I'll watch the playoffs closely, but no more closely than I do the top tier bowl games.

Super Bowl has better commercials.

I prefer college because the huge number of teams makes it interesting for me and, coming from Louisville, I'm always going to favor following my local team than the one I happened to gravitate toward as a kid in the NFL. I'll always be more interested in UofL and the teams they play against than most any NFL team.

So when it comes down to it, unless the Vikings are in the Super Bowl, I'm going to favor college.

If I can only pick one I will always go college football.

End of discussion.

I'm the complete opposite....I can't remember the last time I watched ONE MINUTE of a Super Bowl, at least 10+ years and counting.

I'm kind of over college football by this point. I'll watch the game, but maybe not all of it. Once the conference portion of college hoops season comes around, I lose interest in college football. I work most Saturdays and don't get as much chance to watch games as I'd like over the past few years.

Sundays are a different story as I will be watching all of the NFL playoff games. Usually always go up to my dad's for Super Bowl party in my hometown.
