I haven't read the entire thread so forgive me if this has already been addressed.

 

Does a sloppy field/conditions favor either squad?

 

Limited sample but probably the Steelers because Ben has big hands and plays well in the rain.

I still think the Bengals win, but I have this ugly vision of Pittsburgh starting at their 20 with 2 minutes to go in the game down 6.

 

However, my vision has a happy ending with a pick 6 to seal the deal with under 30 seconds.

The talking is about over, and the beating will soon begin! Cincy's radio station is even playing an anti-Big Ben ad today trying to get in his head. I don't think it's gonna work.

Big Ben will be 14-2 all-time at Three Rivers Stadium SouthWest.

After the Steelers win, I just hope there isn't a mass jumping-off-the-bridge incident of upset Cincy fans. Can't imagine what 5 straight 1st round playoff exits would feel like, being a Steelers fans with all kinds of Super Bowl rings. lol!

PBS use the UBU Sports' Speed Series S5-M synthetic turf system. It won't be sloppy. Footing will be about wearing the right kind of shoes. I just wonder how hard it will rain. I remember that 4th quarter in 2013, playing the Patriots, when a monsoon hit. Brady couldn't see nor could he get a good grip on the ball for passing. It was mentioned that Big Ben has big hands which should help him.

 

That game (the downpour versus New England) was awesome. The crowd was almost giddy it was raining so hard. Really cool, but only because NE was on offense.

Yeah, all of these posters with years of involvement on this site (see: Join date) are going to scurry away like rats running from a flood. No one will disappear, I can assure you, that is posting in this thread pro-Bengals. It is a game. Not life and death. Kind of the same feeling of not winning a playoff game in 5 years like the Steelers. You should know the feeling.

Did you know 10 teams have missed the playoffs 5+ straight years? That seemed higher than I would have expected. Four teams have missed them 11+ straight years (Bills for 16, Raiders for 13, Browns for 13, and Rams for 11).

Oh I will be here no matter what win or lose. However you won't here from me until late that night or next day either way though because I will be at the game and then going out after. However you can expect your crow that next day from me.
