I will but you lunch if you ever see @Danny wearing CCH gear.

Did I ever stir up a big ruckus. Correct, I do not have any CCH gear and have no plans of purchasing any, but as a neutral 9th region fan I can certainly see CCH rising to the top of the heap.

I agree, and if by chance you misunderstood Clyde, I believe that he was demonstrating that you were not being CovCath biased in your comment, and BTW you just missed out on a free lunch.

Cooper and cov cath will play for region 9 championship. Right now it's early in the season, both teams will be stronger and more in shape than any other team once tournament rolls around. Both teams will have their legs in the 4th when game 25, 26, 27...etc comes around.

Well, since Danny feels like second place is all the rest of the 9th region teams are good for let's just crown CCH now. With all of their superior coaching, talent, toughness of schedule, depth, discipline ect.... the rest of us just don't stand a chance.

Coach Ruthsatz is hands down one of the best coaches in NKY, if not in the state. He runs a very high level, particular, disciplined program.

This cannot be argued. He won a state title 2 years ago, was in the state semi-final last year, and has ONLY been at CCH for about 5 years. It took him only 2 or 3 years to build a state champion.

Enough cannot be said about the job he is doing in Park Hills and in the state of KY, when you consider where CCH was before he took over, maybe not bad, but not state champion worthy in the few years prior.

Yes, Coach R. Has had some talent, but so have other teams, some with D1 caliber talent, that haven't even made it out of the district or region. R gets his teams to play disciplined, very hard, and together.

Give the man his due. Those who don't, are clearly wearing their teams "colored glasses."

And, I am NOT a CCH fan, or alum, or staff member. I just know good basketball, and great coaching when I see it.

Again, their are other really good coaches in NKY, but Ruthsatz has to be top 5 in the state, if not higher.

This is not meant to be an argument against any coach or team, but more an argument for what I do see out of CCH, year in and year out under Coach Ruthsatz.

BTW, Cooper's coach Sullivan is one of those really good coaches!! Players love him and he does a great job!

Dude.

I'm confused for some reason no one is giving HC the credit they deserve... HC hadn't lost a game to anyone in the 9th. They are playing the best defense of anyone in the 9th an if I'm not mistaken they are the most experienced team in the region with their top 6 players being seniors.

I'm looking forward to the HC/CCH tilt in Latonia in 3-4 weeks.

Holy Cross is playing great ball and I've seen them twice so far. In past threads I've given them high praise and have said that they are for real. I've seen others out here speak highly of them as well. The word is out about them, and most who are following the 9th are aware that they're no slouch. They're more than worthy of being in the discussion, and you can rest easy knowing that you along with others have taken notice.

Can u predict the future, or just wishful thinking on your part? Looks to me at this point there are plenty of teams that could be there....

Can I predict the future no, did I predict a cch state championship 2 years ago yes, I also thought they were going to win last year. And this year it will be cooper or cch in region 9, personally know both teams very well and they have a huge advantage whether you know it or not.

You may be right. You may be wrong. You said yourself you "thought" cch was going to win last year but didn't. Predicting something makes you either right or wrong in the end. What's this huge advantage you speak of? Good luck especially if you have money on it.

I would love to hear about this huge advantage these teams have. I know that HC had the advantage in points when they played Cooper.

Cov. Cath will be there in the mix. They've been proven winners the last 3-5 yrs. I would give them the edge bcos of experience and a winning culture. But they dont play games on paper. It sounds like Holy Cross has a nice team this year and Cooper has already beat them. New. Cath has arguably the best player in Weyer and Holmes has McClendon who can carry a team. Let's all enjoy this unpredictable yr in the 9th region. I would love to come up and watch a few good gamesin this region these next few months. Any suggestions from those of you who've seen these teams?
