I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure Flynn's previous 8 seasons were all winning ones at Ashland. That has nothing to do with what LBBC's statement though. :p

I think Buddy is 34. You better tell your players to start running. They better be in shape before tryouts begin and they better like lifting weights.

One thing Biggs will have to adjust to is his best players play football so they have usually play their way into shape.

They usually go pretty deep in playoffs so he will be getting his best players late.

Not sure many PC players played football other than Elliott.

My peeps tell me he plans to run and gun.

You two are missing Sharp's point. Sharp is saying that the other teams in the 10th region will be happy because Pendelton Co. lost a great coach, which will help the other teams in the 1th region.

Buddy is well respected and liked up here in the North. We aren't happy to see him go. Honestly, Pat Riley would have his hands full at pc going forward. Now was the absolute right time for him to look at other opportunities. His hard work in the past has paid off.

How about not just a great opportunity at Ashland but also the talent pool at PC has run its course and it may be several years before they reach the level of play they had these past few years. Not taking anything away from the kids coming back but when you lose the seniors they did, its time to re-group and develop the younger talent.

That may change now that Biggs is there.He likes his players to play basketball and that is all.May not this year but in years to come.

He might have to have a heart-to-HART talk with the football coach.:laugh:

Biggs did a very nice job at PCHS and he deserves a great deal of credit. However, he did have a wealth of talent and it was just a matter of time before he left and went somewhere else. He applied for many jobs this summer and I think was really wanting out of Pendleton. They will be down for a year or two, compared to what they ahve doen the last few years. The younger classes and the middle school classes at Pendleton have a great deal of potential and talent. If new Head Coach Chad Simms plays his cards right he could have a dynamite future at PCHS.

The 10th has lost some good coaches in the last couple of years!!! Kelly (Mason), Willie (Brossart), Buddy (Pendleton), and it sounds like Robert(Bracken)......Is it just me or does it seem like High School coaches are starting to move around as much as college or pro coaches???

I was not sure about Coach Biggs when he came to Town, but he sure did prove himself to me and many other faithful PC fans. I know some don't think that Ashland is a step up, but if you look at the two programs over the last 30 years I think you can understand. There is talent in the the high school and certainly in the future coming up through the middle school. From what I hear when this years 6th grade makes it to the 10th grade, they shoud be stacked. I hope the coaching staff that steps in now realizes that the success of the high school depends on what they can do to start the younger kids out correctly.
