Why, as a coach, would you allow a kid to take reps from someone who will need them that is eligible? Whether it's a kid that will play this year or next year?

He just might make someone better by playing against him. Plus it lets Walker "stay sharp". Plus it shows that the coach wasn't just "using him"......plus it keeps him involved...and hopefully out of trouble.

He would no doubt make someone better by playing against him. However he still will take the position of someone that can play. And again you are correct that he would "stay sharp". However...he was using him...:sssh:

I sure hope this works out better for Bill than it did for Maurice Clarett.

I am also about 100 percent sure that won't happen. There is zero reason to stay there if you are Bill Walker.

I know I wouldn't be able to sit out for a season, practice just wouldn't give me the fix. Wait a minute, come to think of it that's pretty much what I did for 3 seasons.
