Hope my relatives are over the disappointment by the time we visit at Christmas. I texted my cousin right after the Hawkeyes took the lead, but got no response. They must've known it was too good to be true.

Best college game of the day IMO. Michigan State's last drive seemed like an eternity, but was what it took to win.

Personally...I would have let Michigan State scored and chased a game-tying field goal.

By far the best game. 22 play final drive, longest drive on the last 2 seasons I believe.

IMO Michigan State won 3 games this year where they were not the best team on the field. Iowa impressed me more tonight than MSU did. I honestly thought MSU would win by 2 touchdowns or more. Iowa is a really good team.

They were running hard for the end zone each play. They wouldn't have thought to stop IMO.

Hawkeye fans probably didn't sleep well last night remembering that tipped ball interception in their own end zone. I knew in a defensive struggle like this game was that turnover was big time hurtful. As it turned out it was the difference in the game.

Even in losing, I believe that Iowa proved a lot of people wrong. They definitely have a very good team and if not for their interception in the end zone, they would have likely won.

So did Cook diss Griffin? Surprised he didn't even acknowledge him.
