December 6, 201510 yr I disagree. I won the American Conference one season but lost in the Bluegrass Bowl. I would have had the 16th pick if I had kept two the next season. I decided to keep zero players, ended up getting AP and Gronk and that season I won the American and the Bluegrass Bowl. The draft is more than just your first two players. Now personally if you want to complain about the free agent process I'm down, I think we should implement blind bidding. If you are one of the best teams you better draft well and hope for extreme luck like I had with my Buck Allen pickup. You can scour free agent and find good pickups even as a good team, but it is difficult especially in this league.
December 6, 201510 yr As someone who has been in this league since day one, the notion that it benefits the veterans in my eyes is laughable. My five career playoff wins agree with that. It's a tough spot. Cobb scored a touchdown but it is a fumble recovery and not a passing, rushing, or receiving touchdown. The rules are what they are. There are no points rewarded if a player recovers a fumble. Is it something that can be addressed in the offseason? Sure. This league has a history of making adjustments and they almost always have been for the positive. I scrolled back to the preseason. When the topic of scoring change suggestions were made, I didn't see anything about rewarding an offensive player who recovers a fumble in the end zone with a touchdown. It didn't seem to be a big deal then. I understand why it is a big deal now. I would not vote in favor of changing the rule right now. Wait until the season is over. We can call it the "Brady Rule" or something clever like that.

December 7, 201510 yr I needed 1 more yard from rushing from David Johnson and 1 more yard Receiving from Gary Barnidge to get the win today...maybe the stats will update over night and I'll get at least one of those yards for a tie! Or 1 14 yd reception from Jordan Matthews at the end of the game for the outright win. Losing by 1 point SUCKS!!!! Congrats Maniacs!!!

December 7, 201510 yr Ben, you have a huge lead on a terrible team. Would it be too much to ask for you to hand the ball off and let your kicker kick a couple FGs, instead of passing every damned down? You know, lessen the chances of you getting your clock cleaned, given this injury-plagued year?
December 7, 201510 yr The Possums and my squad are tied 109-109 right now. He's got Ben and I've got the young stud kicker. His FG just a moment ago tied it up. Ben's going to get the ball back and throw it 10 more times.
