Verbal commits are a joke. No point in doing so, true a kid can change his mind, happens all the time and the days of "my word is my bond" are gone, long gone. But the flip flopping is bothersome to me.

Would have liked to hear the whole story of the decommit from UK. Rumor was that he didn't want to compete for snaps. Makes sense that a coaching change could be the issue at Marshall. Then again, it's 20 minutes from Ashland.

 

With this year's rb's combining with the return of starter Allen he will have a ton of competition for snaps. Love that he's considering the Hilltoppers.

Best of luck to Q. One of those things we don't know what all has gone on behind the scenes. End of the day he's got one life and it's a big decision that he needs to go with his gut. Never know what coaches might be moving etc. Western has a good thing going. Al was a monster at Trigg Co. Wish him the best of luck! Side note saw a picture of him+Al side by side. Both specimens but it was crazy how fast Al was for his size!

I think so. Getting the chance to play with O'Bryan some more is one of the bigger impacts in this. I would like to believe his speed is enough to get him on the field as a freshman, especially because him and Drew are early enrolling together.

If you think he doesn't consider himself still in play you are just fooling yourself.
