Only 5 coaches voted? That is a shame.

Week 1? Have games already started?

Makes you wonder, if the coaches have no interest, why should the fans.

Are you just being obstinate because of my stupid avatar? Every sport on the planet has a poll / ranking before games start. This is hardly unique.

Games start tonight.

Seems like a fair question. There was already a "preseason poll" put out so I can see how someone would think games have been played.

Preseason poll was slightly different.

1.) Cov Cath

2.) Cooper

3.) NCC

4.) Campbell Co

5.) Holmes

6.) Scott

7.) Newport

8.) Simon Kenton

9.) St. Henry

10.) Holy Cross

@Just Jim, was that voted on as well by the coaches?

yes

Nice to see Cooper opening up the season against the #1 team in the region. Should be a great game tomorrow night at Cooper High School against the Colonels of Covington Catholic. #1 vs. #2 to see how these teams stack up in the early season. I love it.

I really meant to ask why does it say "Week 1 Rankings" instead of "Preseason Rankings." Week 1 implies that games have been played to me.

Wow. no love for brossart whatsoever. Don't sleep on them. Got the W against St Henry tonight 66 to 48.

This poll seems pretty accurate although I think Holmes is a little high. Campbell can beat Cooper and CovCath this year but until they prove it on the court they should be #3.
