November 28, 201510 yr 2-4 one of the top guys from Ohio is already making calls. I don't fault them one bit for looking elsewhere.
November 29, 201510 yr I don't know why any recruit who has a chance to go to another quality D1 school would chose KY..
November 29, 201510 yr Only reason is because of immediate playing time. Just look how many frosh/soph are playing.
November 29, 201510 yr I think one or two if any. The guys seem pretty loyal to me, Drake Jackson seems to have taken the Drew Barker role in recruiting and I've noticed from their Twitter accounts (doesn't say much) that they're all still in.
November 29, 201510 yr I just don't see why someone would want to come play football at a basketball school. It's actually incredible Stoops has been able to get some of the guys he gotten. But I think it shows how Stoops got them now; The bigger schools didn't want them.

November 29, 201510 yr Then take your ball and go home I mean thats not my fault. Its a culture at UK thing. No one cares about UK football besides tailgating(which really isn't that great to begin with). The fans are going to have to show some support for the program and make it a sports school, not a basketball school. Stoops said on his radio show the other day that one of their biggest recruiting events was taking recruits to UK basketball games. Thats just sad.

Considering the lack of success UK FB has had they get GREAT support from fans and the school.

Stoops said on his radio show the other day that one of their biggest recruiting events was taking recruits to UK basketball games. Thats just sad. UK fans supported the team all year. There were more UK fans at the vandy game in Nashville than there were vandy fans. What more do you expect for people that are watching bad football? Money for a stadium upgrade? Money for new practice facilities? Get outta here, that's not gonna happen at a basketball school.. Oh snap, they did that too. Again, what more support do you want?

The school undoubtably yes. What school wouldnt support their football team. It brings in more money. I'm sure those few good years they had with Rich Brooks the football team brought in more money than the basketball teams does in a national championship year. But by no means do I believe the UK fans support the team the way they should.

It would be stupid for the school not to throw money into the program. Wow you had more fans than Vandy congrats. Nashville is closer than Lexington to a lot of UK fans. I'm just sorry but once BBM happens Lexington stops caring about football.

Do you even know where the money comes from to upgrade the football facilities? Should we fill road games completely with UK fans?
