What a hot load of garbage. The link strongly stresses last year , like the previous 10 didnt matter . Yeah the b!g had a strong year last year , they even look good this year , but you cant cry away a decade of dominance.

His beliefs about bias and desires may be and probably are somewhat true. Where he loses credibility is using just this season and last.

Blog post was weak in terms of evidence. He might be right or he might be an aggrieved TCU homer. There was much more in there to convince me of the latter than the former.

And the voices continue to cry out from the wilderness. What else is new? Haters and wannabes gonna keep on crying.

Funny how you all can call people haters, but as soon as we call you all OSU haters you get all defensive.

We all know ESPN is in bed with the SEC. They also hate the B1G for going with Fox.

The people who make a living evaluating talent believe that the article is bogus and that the SEC heads and shoulders better and more talented......NFL teams

Breaking down NFL rosters by conferences and colleges - Pac-12 Blog- ESPN

Who is telling you that the SEC doesn't have good talent? All this article is saying is that the best teams in each conference are equal and that the SEC isn't leaps and bounds better than everyone else. The SEC is dominated by the same 3 or 4 teams every year just like everybody else.

I said more talent and it isn't even close, they have 70 more players in the NFL than the second conference the ACC. More talent, better teams and playing more talented teams week to week. Top to bottom a better conference, the SEC has had 4 teams win the National Championship in the last ten years, and not one of those four are: Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Missouri or South Carolina.

Other conferences are deep too. How many teams does the SEC have in top 10 right now? 1. B1G has 4. That's not including Northwestern who beat Stanford this year,Wisconsin (who just somehow always wins there bowl game just about every year against great competition),Penn State, Nebraska, and Minnesota. That leaves Indiana, Maryland, Illiois, Purdue, and Rutgers and I'd say they would be 50-50 with the garbage pile of football that is the bottom of the SEC like Vandy, South Carolina, Missouri, and sadly UK. I mean what's the difference? The upper echelon of teams in both conferences have somewhere from 0-4 losses. Neutral site between a decent B1G team like Penn State and a decent SEC team like Arkansas, the odds would be a pick em. So why is the SEC just leaps and bounds better? You aren't providing more evidence besides on the SEC has more players in the NFL, but the numbers are largely skewed by 2 teams. Teams top to bottom in most conferences are fairly equal. Yeah the SEC should be at the top of the list I won't deny you that, but it's a small margin. You all act like its the 3rd conference of the NFL.

Even if we suppose the above is true how does that impact the teams selected for the playoffs?

Does Kirk Hebrstreit pick the teams?

I didn't say anything about the playoff, just said that ESPN is in bed with the SEC. I actually thought it was common knowledge.

I don't recall anyone getting defensive. Most just laugh because an OSU fan can't make a post on this site with out the word hater in it. It's beyond comical.

I don't the SEC chest thumping but I also can't understand the constant attempts to show they aren't at the top. Not sure who expends the most energy.

Then whats the point of the article that started this thread?
