I'd be willing to guess that nearly every Presidential Candidate has made a comment that wasn't 100% factually accurate to sensationalize a point they were trying to make to a certain segment of voters. I'm not saying it's right or OK just that it isn't shocking that a candidate over states something for effect.

Mrs. Clinton just stated during the debate that 3000 people had been killed by Gun Violence between the last debate and that one and that there had been 21 mass shootings in that time frame “including one last weekend in Des Moines where three were murdered.” All pretty easy to verify, but the crowd she was talking to lapped it up...and it was false. Even the shooting in Des Moines where three people were supposedly killed could not be found during the time frame she gave.

 

Also don't forget that it was the Clinton camp that started the whole Birther Issue to begin with during the primaries 8 years ago.

The reason for the thread is that I don't think Trump is clueless. He's playing on fear and stereotypes. I think it's working.

Clueless wasn't the right word. They're both saying everything intentionally. Trump is pandering to the lowest common denominator, and just trying to stir up emotion. I don't understand his supporters.

Trump is on his way to the Republican nomination.

BGP might have literally blown up had this been a candidate of a different political stripe.

How many Trump supporters are there on here ? Not many willing to admit it . I dont like him at all but he's Eisenhower or Reagan compared to Hillary .
