November 22, 201510 yr I really would be embarrassed to go to a bowl at 5-7. I won't attend. The practice they'd get to have for a month would be invaluable to a team rebuilding. I'm sure plenty of Cat fans would travel, so I think they'd be fine.

I have to ask the question ... just how dang bad does a team have to be to lose to U.K. Football by 48 pts. ?? :eek: I hope that the Cats can get the Win over the Cards bc it's U.L. and Petrino and he disgust me. About making a 6 win bowl I really don't care, don't think there should be any 6 win team in post season, that's just me tough. Go Cats !

College football reaches 40 bowls in 2015, more than doubling postseason in 20 years | AL.com That means 80 teams to fill those spots. I have heard that only about 75 teams will have non-losing seasons. That means about 5 teams with 5-7 records will play in bowl games this year. Will the bowl UK makes be a good one? No. But it WILL give them another month of practice, which they desperately need.

No. But it WILL give them another month of practice, which they desperately need. Currently 70 teams have won 6 games. There are 9 teams that have a chance of getting to that 6 win mark. With 40 Bowls ( one being the championship ) being played, 78 different teams are needed. It is very possible a 5-7 team plays in a bowl.
