I love how the media lied and convinced all the little piggies about how big bad Trump said so many bad things about the Muslims and making them register and stuff.

 

Once again how can the media brainwash so many.

It seems he just read a misleading headline, that was created from a quote that was taken out of context from an interview with Trump. Then it seems as if, without doing due diligence, people accepted this headline as truth.

Here's the problem with your statement.

 

If he was talking about legal immigrants/refugees we have a tracking system in place for each person regardless of religion.

 

If he was talking about illegals then it doesn't matter if we have a database.

 

So it's highly unlikely he was talking about either of those two groups.

 

That leaves one group - ALL Muslims including citizens.

 

Add on that he had multiple follow-up opportunities to clarify his remarks and didn't. One guy even asked him how this was different than IDing Jews in Germany. He said "You tell me."

 

He very well could STILL be only referencing illegals despite it not making sense. If so then he's truly playing to the fears of a segment of voters.

 

Lastly, if he is only referring to immigrants/refugees who we already track do people really believe that we aren't already using the NSA to track them?

When pressed on whether these measures might include tracking Muslim Americans in a database or noting their religious affiliations on identification cards, Trump would not go into detail -- but did not reject the options.

Had the chance to clarify that it wouldn't be for US citizens. Didn't do it.

Well, I retracted it because it was a bit harsh and uncalled for.

 

This thread deals with the assumption of a tracking of US citizens who practice a particular religion. IF that's your definition of being a "patriot" then I'm not a patriot.

I just think that after 8 years of Obama( who is way to the left) to someone like Trump( who I cant even describe yet) it would be a major shock to the Liberals systems that they may implode.

And yet I still don't see where he actually said what you claimed he said. I'm aware of all the other information, I posted it. When someone says "so and so says..." I expect to be able to find where he/she actually says it. Lots of reading between the lines to claim something going on here. I understand the problem is he's dancing around a bunch. That's on him. The thing is it's something most believe he would actually say. I'd like to wait until he actually does though.

I get what your saying, but Conservatives survived 8 years of Clinton and then Liberals survived 8 years of Bush...

 

The "Americans" in this country are stronger than their conservative / liberal labels.

Not much has we can do. We survived 12 years of the Bush's. Maybe I'll do exactly what Conservatives have done for the last 8 years.
