People that I've talked to all want him for the same reason. He is NOT a career politician. If the democrats had a similar canidate Hillary wouldn't have a chance. Americans want something different. November 21, 201510 yr The people I am talking about are college age kids that do not trust the establishment to 75 year old grandpa's. Thats kinda why I have changed my mind on Trumps chances. Ridicule me and tell me no way and it only shows you are ignoring hard facts. People are tired of whats got America in the condition its in today. Just two day ago Kentucky had a Democrat legislator change from Democrat to Republican. Butler did it: State representative changes political parties - wave3.com-Louisville News, Weather & Sports And like I said this is just not a Kentucky trend. Look at the polls nationwide.
November 21, 201510 yr I hear rhetoric from the right all the time suggesting that Americans fear their free country will erode into tyranny, particularly if the wrong people are elected. A few examples: I've heard Obama referred to as a dictator, tyrant, statist, "Obamunist," etc., arguments have been made that guns can't be regulated or the government will become too powerful, Democratic candidates are auditioning for "who will wear the jackboot," and so on. So, here's a question for my friends on the right: When faced with examples of actual undemocratic, illiberal authoritarianism, like the NSA's unhinged surveillance regime or presidential candidates' proposals to persecute certain religious groups, why is there little pushback from your side? Isn't this stuff exactly what you fear?
