November 16, 201510 yr Manning is a first ballot hall of famer hands down. Sadly, what happens to so many great players in all sports, your body just doesn't respond and you mind will not let you say it is time to call it a career. These past two years, a little over half way through the season he has just tanked production wise, due to his body not being about to with stand the punishment. Denver is really in a tough situation, does Peyton have anything left, or just go with Osweiler and hope for the best. I am hoping Manning can get through this season, and lose to the Bengals in the AFC Championship game after beating the Patriots.

November 16, 201510 yr Manning will not play this week in Chicago per Kubiak. Just saw where a doctor has said surgery is not needed, and that Manning can play if he can manage and tolerate the pain.
November 17, 201510 yr Manning is suffering from plantar fasciitis. I have had plantar fasciitis. It really does suck and it is very hard to get rid of. I can see how it would affect his throwing if he cannot plant on the foot...and he does not have the strongest arm anyway.

November 17, 201510 yr Thing is, it has been such a rapid fall. He could have won MVP in 2012. Won it in 2013 while breaking the all time single season TD record. 2014 he was on pace to be in the MVP race until mid-way through the season when he got crushed at St. Louis. He has not been the same since. Manning has never had a strong arm and has gotten by with his smarts and accuracy. The arm strength is even worse so the other two no longer matter. Hammer, meet nail.

Couldn't put ANY weight on the foot in the morning. Believe it or not, two things alleviated the symptoms and they've never returned (after 20 years). Good shoes Those inserts with "magnetic studs"
