They should travel real well.

Injuries shouldn't be an excuse for John Hardin they have depth and plenty of nice looking kids, hopefully little old Shelby can have a chance.

I would like to ask Franklin and Spencer fans who've seen both teams play tell us what they think.

From a Spencer county fan I think this game will be a flat out war, if John Hardin can stop and block manica they will have a good night, personally I would take John Hardin in a low scoring contest.

Fly guy... Most all high school teams, to include John Hardin, would struggle losing a center, defensive end, and top running back. Mind you they did not play against Spencer. 11 carried it a few times before he left the game. I guarantee Coach Lewis will not use it as an excuse, but does it make a difference? Absolutely. What if Shelby lost 44 their best RB I guess they would be the same team right? That's not a real smart statement in my opinion.

This statement is why we JH fans are so excited about the future and talk a lot about it. All the kids you mentioned are underclassmen and the depth they'll have next year is amazing.

Next game the play when #11 lines up a little deeper it's always wing counter - that's after watching 4 plays on film

I'm going to assume that the above is phrased a little poorly and that you didn't come to that conclusion after watching four plays. Maybe you saw something after four plays but of course you would of had to watch much more film to confirm it. In fact multipul games. Also is 11 a wing or the FB behind the QB? It's one thing to see depth from film. You can pick up all kinds of stuff from film which is much harder to pick up on the field. You of course have to get a 16-19 year old to see it in the heat of a game which of course you know is easier said than done.

It doesn't take much to watch alignment to tip a play. The moment I seen his alignment deeper than previous plays I knew he was getting the ball.

 

This game isn't rocket science.

IF, and ONLY IF Shelby defends against the pass MUCH better than they did against Collins, they should win.

The worst thing for them is to get JH that wants to get them back while they go in overconfident because of first appearance and they lay an egg. Possibly could happen might not happen. Who knows. You might be right they may be overconfident but I'm sure last years Central game is still in the back of their minds, but as you said that's why we play the game.

They should travel real well.

 

Rumors going around that the Shelby County Student Section convinced administration to set aside a bus to transport the students from Shelbyville to Elizabethtown. Certainly hope that it's more than a rumor.
