JH has some key injuries including one of its starting RBs potentially spraining his LCL. Not sure the severity of it but if he can't play it's another big loss for John. Waiting to see if he'll play or not.

Well fill me in on Shelby County.

Very athletic. Great D. Run a lot of option. Great kicker and special team play. Does not throw that much but can burn you when you don't expect it. Manica, Perry, Davis and Drane are the names you will want to learn. Should be full strength when they come down.

Sounds a bit like Spencer County but with better athletes. JH will play their usual 8 in the box I would assume.

The last time the Rockets made it to the regional finals they were in 6A. They lost 45-35 at Boone County in 2007.

 

I expect a great game at John Hardin Friday night. Shelby County is better than Spencer and more athletic. They have a lot of play makers on offense and a solid defense. Collins exposed their pass defense a little but from what I understand John Hardin doesn't throw it much.

Passing game better than Spencer and so much more athletic than Spencer.

They would rather run it but their QB is a capable passer. Big weakness this year is a true threat at receiver like they've had in the past. They will throw to their backs a lot and to the Freshman TE.

John Hardin has allot of injuries to deal with. RB #11 is out and I did not see their starting center playing as well. How healthy is Shelby County as a team?

Center did not play nor one of their DE's. But losing #11 is going to hurt.

John Hardin is a MASH unit right now with all the injuries. Lucky to win last Friday with key guys out. It might be the end of the road Friday. Hard to overcome with that many kids being out against very good opponents.

Shelby is dealing with a few banged up players but for the most part are back to top shape!
