PRP has more talent. I guarantee that...... I'm not saying their team is necessarily better but their talent is better. I saw them with my own eyes. 2nd most talented team Johhn played all year behind SW. Central doesn't have PRP talent.

PRP like a lot of Jefferson Co schools has tons of talent but when it comes to teams, they are not very good. I know they were under 500 but I wouldn't want that schedule.

This is a JH and Shelby thread, but PRP beats Shelby. Too many skilled athletes and big hogs up front.

I don't deny that, just saying IMO I don't think PRP is all that as a team.

According to KHSAA.org, John Hardin gives up nearly 3500 yards rushing on the year. They could be in for a rude awakening against option-heavy Shelby.

What is the status of #11 RB Shorter? If it is true that he tore the PCL and is unable to play, huge loss for JH.

Word is they are taking a pep bus and throwing the cheerleaders in with the band. Only in the Shelby co school district. You see around here, they pay for buses out of the sports budget instead of the school picking up the tab. They have to pay for drivers and I think mileage. Adds up quickly when budgets stink. Pep bus will charge a fee to ride.

 

Many school districts pay for buses for athletic events out of the athletics budget. Many schools have had textbook, professional development, etc budgets slashed, so they can't justify covering all transportation costs out the general school funds.

Looking at team page on KHSAA scoreboard, JH has rushed for 3200+ yards and allowed 1940.

I found the stats under the teams. Shelby has ran for 3447 and given up 1678. I would say we are both pretty even. JH has thrown for 886 yards to SC 848 however SC is gain about 20 yards per completion while JH is at 17 yds/comp. Again about even. One thing that sticks out and find hard to believe is the stats are showing JH with only 12 take aways while SC has 24.

So, this looks like it will be one heck of a game. Whoever doesn't turn the ball over wins. Sounds to me it will be just like the Spencer game where it came down to Spencer's 2 INT's.
