I am sick of ISIS

Not we as a nation, we as in our POTUS and his administration.

No, WE elected him. You and I are WE. I agree with your sentiment but it's the truth as much as we don't like it.

Then WE need to let him know that WE are tired of his inaction that is tantamount to enabling ISIS.

I wish our opinion mattered.

F-15 fighters kill head of IS in Libya: US

US Airstrike kills leader of Islamic State In Libya

Washington (AFP) - An F-15 fighter jet strike killed the head of the Islamic State group in Libya, the Pentagon said Saturday, in another high-profile US hit following the targeting of the most-wanted "Jihadi John."

The announcement comes as the extremist group said it was responsible for Friday's attacks in Paris that killed at least 129 people during an onslaught of bombings and shootings on the French capital, though the Pentagon said the two events were not connected.

Washington has orchestrated an air campaign going after the IS group and senior figures in Syria and Iraq, but this is the first US strike against an IS leader in Libya.

Abu Nabil, also known as Wissam Najm Abd Zayd al-Zubaydi, was the senior IS leader in Libya and may also have been the spokesman in a grisly video showing the execution of Coptic Christians, Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said in a statement.

Cook described Abu Nabil as an Iraqi national and Al-Qaeda operative.

We are too passive to respond.

And ISIS clearly knows that.

Then WE need to let him know that WE are tired of his inaction that is tantamount to enabling ISIS.

Does Congress not matter?

What will it take for our government to respond? Is this an Obama decision to go to war or a congress decision? They need to quit playing and go blow some stuff up. And I don't care who is over there. Women, children, soldiers, whomever. Blast away.

I'm a Christian. I pray for peace this time of year.

I've never prayed for all souls to acknowledge my faith with blood. ...

Women, children,

I agree we need to take action, but people have to realize that we will have a bit of deaths on our side, it won't be pretty. But the above can't happen, we have to do our best to make sure we are getting the fighters only, or it will end up being worse, besides that it's not the way to do things.

No way around it. If the plan is to attack then we need to attack and send a message. When we attacked Japan we spared no one. It has to be the same mindset in order to be successful.

This needs to be done without Russia and without Syria, they can do their own thing and Syria can handle some of the Arab nations and work with them.

We have to assure Sunni's that if they drop arms we will protect them, and we will destroy whoever doesn't drop their arms.

This isn't the 1940's, if we don't attempt to work around the innocent, all we are going to do is make many more Muslims run to ISIS to take up arms. The same mindset from the 40's won't work this time around.

This requires boots on the ground and more intel on the ground. The sad thing is, as we grew leaps and bounds with technology we really cut back in a huge way with boots and intel on the ground, which has hurt us.

It might work. We have to try it to see. :D

There are more boots on the ground now, correct?

Yes, and a couple of weeks ago most people learned that with the hostage rescue that had the unfortunate death of a U.S. soldier. We just can't hold back at all now.

Agreed. We need to go balls to the wall.
