I looked again. Is there any team that Elizabethtown played that's still alive and playing? Their schedule is that bad. I'll take Caldwell County to win this game by 20!

and the only thing that Caldwell has on etown's qb is a very accurate deep ball. Otherwise etown qb is twice the athlete as the sophomore at Caldwell

Nice bulletin board material, I'm sure it's already up in the Tiger locker room, Caldwell's Quarterback is only a sophomore who has really come on this season, as far as being twice thew athlete, you are comparing a senior to a sophmore. One thing you need to know is Burns is an outstanding pitcher on the Tiger baseball now. PT has been great one game, then bad the next at times this year, the question is which one did Elizabethtown see, also they have a tendency to quit when they get down sometime, so we will see what that 100 mile bus ride to Princeton is like for E town, Caldwell County has played some tough teams this year and could easily be 12 and 0, The Tigers will be ready.

I know nothing about Etown. But one thing that stands out to me is that might have played the weakest schedule in the state. Which win this year is Etown hanging their hat on? I certainly don't see the good win in any of those 12.

Some would say Caldwell's best win was its loss to Mayfield.

Etown better stay humble and keep their heads clear bc this Caldwell team is no slouch. I would be very surprised if Dee Cain is not the best player on the field. Kid is amazing and a great playmaker. Caldwells QB throws a very good ball and will light it up if the defense gives him the opportunity. I'm going with Caldwell in this one.

HATERS gonna Hate. Let that ride on. E'town has a good team, but to believe that Caldwell allowed Adair to hang around is absurd. Obviously you got your info from some twitter feed or box score. Let's just say that Adair was beaten handily in a game that was win or go home, and E"town won convincingly over PT in a like game. Other than an early pick 6 by Caldwell, they came out a little flat. Contribute that to Adair County or whatever you want, I have no doubt the Tigers will be ready for E'Town to come to town Friday. They have yet to come up big in big games, ask Mayfield. This game will be closer than the Adair game, but Caldwell by 15.

North Hardin is not in Caldwell's top three wins. Caldwell trounced a Franklin Simpson team IN Franklin. A FS team that is still playing in the 4a Regional final. E town does not have a win that surpasses that.

Agreed. And the win at 6A Henderson County was a pretty good win for Caldwell as well.

 

I think there was some concern going into the season that Caldwell might get overwhelmed by its schedule, which is considerably tougher than the last 2 years. But looking back, those games against quality opponents really helped make Caldwell a pretty good football team.

 

Not sure if that means anything as far as winning or losing this week, but I do know Caldwell has gotten better this year as a result of its schedule.

Caldwell beat North Hardin 49-35 at Caldwell. North Hardin better than Henderson (beat Meade who knocked Henderson out of playoffs). Franklin Simpson has a decent record but several teams would be in same spot with their schedule. South Warren beat NH 21-0, Franklin Simpson 27-0 (with from what I read on here a hurt QB) for comparison.

 

Best win for Caldwell and Etown is same, Paducah Tilghman. That is the best team either team beat. Did Etown play Mayfield? No, but their schedule was tougher than people want to give them credit for, and they took care of business. Friday is going to be a great game, hope everyone is ready.
