November 12, 201510 yr Author I'd like to go to Butler's gym. Cool vibe but it has some really bad seats especially up high on the sides.
November 12, 201510 yr Author Rose Hill Gymnasium - Bronx, NY It's where Fordham plays. It's never full and I don't know much of anything about it, but it's the oldest gym still being used in Division I basketball and I'd be curious just to see what it looks like. Excellent call. I love small old-school gyms.
November 12, 201510 yr Excellent call. I love small old-school gyms. The A-10 is full of them. I've heard Alumni Fieldhouse up at St. Joe's is a tiny old place that gets absolutely rocking when they pack those folks in there.
November 12, 201510 yr Author Duh! Hawaii, of course! Actual bucket list would include Cameron, Allen Fieldhouse and Dean Smith Center To be honest the Dean Dome is rather generic.
November 12, 201510 yr To be honest the Dean Dome is rather generic. That's ok. I just want to put an evil curse on it...and maybe pee on the floor. I don't have everything entirely planned out yet. :sssh:
November 12, 201510 yr Memorial at Vanderbilt. Just to figure out its perspective when watching on TV. Can't stand them, but Kansas when Rock/Jayhawk is in full voice. (forgive me UK brethren)

November 12, 201510 yr Also visited the New Castle Fieldhouse in New Castle, Indiana on the same trip. Great place for a high school game. Massive high school gym dug into the ground so the concourse is around the top and there's seating on all sides. Went to a sectional semifinal game at New Castle, about 5 or 6 years ago. Walked in the door, and the first game was in it's last seconds, going into overtime. Probably 6,000 in the gym, and while obviously nowhere near capacity, it was quite the atmosphere. Definitely felt like a step back in time. Also got to experience the Wigwam at Anderson High before it closed. Pretty amazing. My list would be Assembly Hall & Cameron Indoor.
November 12, 201510 yr The first time I walked in The Garden, it was surreal. Like Holy :poop: I'm in the Garden. It's smaller than I imagined it would be, though. Probably because of the ridiculous camera angle you always see on TV. Been to the Garden for a hoops game and a hockey game. My company has tickets there. Pretty cool place. funny thing happened when I was there for the hockey game. It was hat night and someone got a hat trick. Hats littered the ice for several minutes. My only miss is Assembly hall. And I want to wear those red/white stripes when I go. I will be in the front row too
November 12, 201510 yr I hate Duke with a passion, but any bucket list without Cameron Indoor isn't valid. Allen Fieldhouse would probably be up there too, and I would have loved to have been at some of those old Big East tournament games at the Garden.
November 12, 201510 yr Rupp Arena (to watch a UK game) Cameron Indoor Stadium (So many great players/games have taken place there) American Airlines Center (Want to see Dirk play) Madison Sqaure Garden (So much history) Salem Civic Center (D3 National Championship) First ones that come to mind.

For the love of everything holy, don't. Go to the oldest HS gym in Louisville and watch a game. Then say you've been to Rose Hill. Hinkle is an airplane hangar with a court and crazy tight concourses. Cameron looks like a library from the outside. It is UBER small.

November 13, 201510 yr Psssh. No respect for New York's one true team. None. Zero. An infinitesimal amount. Nary a shred. I will take them seriously when THEY take them seriously.
