Your Basketball Venues Bucket List

Featured Replies

I'll put this here since it's not limited to any level of basketball.

What the basketball venues you'd either like to watch a game or play on?

A few I can think of with more to come:

Palestra

Rucker Park

Allen Fieldhouse

Cameron

Madison Square Garden

Where is it?

Where is it?

University of Hawaii

Palestra

Rucker Park

Allen Fieldhouse

Cameron

Madison Square Garden

I like this list a lot. I've never been to a game at Hinkle Fieldhouse either. I'd love to visit there.

A knocked one off a couple years back when my friends and I booked a couple hours on the court from the movie "Hoosiers". It was awesome.

Also visited the New Castle Fieldhouse in New Castle, Indiana on the same trip. Great place for a high school game. Massive high school gym dug into the ground so the concourse is around the top and there's seating on all sides.

Do you want to go because of the gym itself or because of it being in Hawaii?

The first time I walked in The Garden, it was surreal. Like Holy :poop: I'm in the Garden.

It's smaller than I imagined it would be, though. Probably because of the ridiculous camera angle you always see on TV.

I get to mark Allen Fieldhouse off of mine this season :thumb:

I've been there but Assembly Hall should be on everyone's list too.

Cameron would be on my list.

I had the same feeling about Fenway when I entered for the first time. Felt small.

Duh! Hawaii, of course!

Actual bucket list would include Cameron, Allen Fieldhouse and Dean Smith Center

Rose Hill Gymnasium - Bronx, NY

It's where Fordham plays. It's never full and I don't know much of anything about it, but it's the oldest gym still being used in Division I basketball and I'd be curious just to see what it looks like.

I'd like to go to Butler's gym.

Cameron and MSG....I've been to The Fieldhouse and Augusta so those are really the only two others left...and I bet neither has the popcorn standard that The Fieldhouse does
