I don't know if they would beat SK, Ryle or Cooper. They would probably give those teams more of a look than they did before. I don't think it is a joke that they can win state. I think we should go ahead and let them play the games and see who wins. I hope that everyone in 5A is convinced that Highlands is down and will be an easy win.

Dude, I know you are new on here so I am not sure if you are just messing with everyone on here or are serious. I am a big HHS fan and when you say things like the bolded, you embarrass yourself. I am with you that I hope HHS wins state but don't go saying they are the best team in Northern Ky THIS year when they are clearly not.

Yeap, just like the first game that was 7-0 Highlands at the half, go buy a clue, Highlands isn't that good this season.

 

You know speaking of halftime scores, wasn't Highlands and SK pretty near tied at halftime? I think H was sitting like 5 starters too. Sure SK pulled away after that, but isn't that exactly what Highlands did to Dixie? Just firing that halftime score argument right back at ya here to play devils advocate. If halftime scores mean something I guess Highlands and SK aren't that far apart. hmmmmm.

Highlands played pretty well the first quarter and one half and then to say the wheels fell off would be an understatement. Look for this game to be very similar to the last one and that is a tough physical matchup and the team that makes the least number of mistakes will come out victorious.

JOAT's goggles are right. SK was up 28-3 at half. And Highlands wasn't winning after 1st quarter either.

I think a better question would be how close would the score had been without the unforced mistakes made on offense. Was it 5 or 6 int's that night?

If highlands isn't good this year what does that say about the teams they have beaten this year? Yeah highlands is not the dominating team that we normally see but they seem to be putting it together at the right time of year. I think highlands win by 3 scores. GO BIRDS!

 

The record says the 6 teams the Birds beat are a combined 15-51. Not saying the Birds aren't getting better, just answering your question. First Dixie game was 21-7 with 6 1/2 minutes left. Birds win this one by 17-21 points and stretch winning seasons streak to 60.

Included in the 15-51 is CCH. 3 of those losses are to Ohio teams, Cincinnati St. X, Sycamore (OH), St. Francis De Sales (OH). Numbers are deceiving.
