Have there been any games this year with a running clock in the first quarter? I remember some second quarter ones, but first quarter would be one heck of a trick.

I would love to see Dixie get the win!

 

I would also, but I think definitely the Colonels season comes to an end next week. Hope I'm wrong again.

Dixie will hang around longer than they did in the first meeting of these two teams. But Highlands wins, something like this:

Scary thought if your a Bluebird fan. First game was 7-0 at half. HHS didn't blow it open until the 4th quarter. I'm looking for the Birds to be in control this time around by halftime.

I think it will all depend on if they are playing football or fighting.

Yikes, how did they manage that? Score on all of their possessions obviously, but did they get interceptions/fumbles from Newport or did they just force 'three-and-out' every time?

The box score says it was just 12-0 at the end of the first. SK added 29 points in the second quarter to get the running clock.

Colonels showed some fight at MoCo. Hope they get it done next week.

If highlands isn't good this year what does that say about the teams they have beaten this year? Yeah highlands is not the dominating team that we normally see but they seem to be putting it together at the right time of year. I think highlands win by 3 scores. GO BIRDS!

This Highlands team has developed into the best team in NKY over the last few weeks. I think they will win state.
