The way everyone is talking ..Ashland shouldn't even practice at all this week. They have this game already in the bag. They should just relax and watch film on J.C.

Funny, it sounds to me that Scott plays in NKY where football is the best and they will wipe this thing up like a sheet of Bounty on spilled milk.

Ill say it... Ashland is good enough to beat Scott without their 2 big studs. Ashland has as much talent top to bottom as any 4a team in the state. Even without those 2 they are still 2-3 tds better than Rowan Co. As far as someone talking about Ashland giving up the same amount of yds as Scott.... Here's the difference. When Rowan was putting up yrds on Ashland it was against the Jv.

So if you were a coach you wouldn't sit a player that's injured if he wanted to play? That's terrible.

No, I thought the comment was made that an uninjured player was being sat, to be saved for the next round in fear of injury. I wouldn't play an injured player if I was a coach...

Sounds understandable then. The two players i mentioned are injured.

Sorry to hear that...cheers to them getting healthy sooner rather than later!

I hope they do too. They have both had to sit the bench the last two games.

I don't think Ashland will have any problems with me this week. I'm over the hill and fat. I didn't even know I was playing until I saw this thread.

OBryan continued to play against Tates Creek. Baker played about 5 plays in each game.

How much of it was O'Bryan competitive nature, and not telling the coaches how bad he was hurt? The kid is a beast, and I'm sure doesn't like standing on the sidelines.

Maybe some. Wonder who left him in charge?

I blame his mom.

I'm not saying that all. Just saying Scott has the potential to make this more interesting than many believe.

Looks like he's always in charge out on the field. :D

I hope it's a well played game. I hope all of the kids can play but that doesn't seem the case for either squad if the reports here are correct, which is suspect at best.:lol2:

It looks like both teams will have key players out or limited, which makes me even more uncertain.
