I think the biggest issue is everyone you debate with - or at least doesn't agree with regarding tOSU - you assume is in love with UK football and is jealous of the Bucks. No person knows where you come from with that mindset.

If this scenario plays out, I think tOSU would still have the inside track to the Big 10 title game. I don't see the Buckeyes being eliminated unless they drop two games. Or, their loss has to come outside of UM or Michigan State, which I am not seeing.

 

It'd be interesting. The B1G tie-breaker scenarios would come down to the highest playoff ranking team. Would most likely still be Ohio State. Unless, another of the teams is within one spot of them. Then it comes down to the head to head results between those two teams. It could happen depending on where they're ranked before they matchup. I could see Michigan getting up to around #10 if they win out before the Ohio State game. I think OSU is pretty well locked into #3 behind Clemson and LSU/Bama assuming those teams continue to win.

 

I still fully expect Ohio State to be in the conference title game, but I don't see a 1 loss team from the B1G making the final four.

I've never once claimed to be a UK football fan.

 

Grew up a UK basketball fan because my dad rooted for them and I'd watched them for as long as I can remember. Dad isn't/wasn't much of a college football fan so I was left to find a team for myself. The combination of Charles Woodson, my love of the X-Men (and specifically Wolverine), and the fact that at 10 I thought their helmets were awesome sealed the deal. Michigan it was, and Michigan it's always been.

The SEC fan boyism on here is at epic proportions. I'm not used to supporting multiple teams but if I'm a UK football fan I guess I get it.

What makes you so sure? Obviously they will have to win the SEC Champ, but I think they for sure will be in the Champ game with 1 loss. They have already proven they can hang with LSU, they've beaten Ole Miss already, we just have to see how Bama and LSU compare this weekend. But the way I see it they have the best shot to win the SEC because they are the only one that we should have confidence in saying that they will be in the champ game. Can't say that for anyone else at the moment. What would really make things interesting is if Florida loses a game and makes the SEC Champ game and wins. That would make my day.

Secondly, I don't think they'll win against whoever they're up against in the SEC title game, as I highly, HIGHLY doubt it will be Ole Miss squaring off with them. I don't think the Rebels have what it takes to beat LSU, and I'm not certain I'd pick them over Mississippi State either. I think it'll be either Bama or LSU in the finals, both of which I would take over Florida in a heartbeat.

Just to clarify I wasn't saying if Florida wins SEC champ with 2 losses that they would be in. It would make my day if they did have two losses but were champs because the SEC wouldn't get a team in, which would cause mass chaos.

I am a U. Memphis fan and have been since I was a child and went to my first football game there. I will admit it is a lot easier this year than most. Then, I am a UK football fan which is usually equally as painful. I am decidedly not an SEC fan.

No way OSU is left out, even if they lose a game. They are the Yankees of college football for crying out loud!
