November 3, 201510 yr My go-to's are 2-3 mugs of hot tea in the morning, and a Diet Coke or two in the afternoon/evening. Figures to give-or-take 175 mg of caffeine, depending on the day. (The Mayo Clinic says 400 mg or less is safe for adults.) Where do you figure in on a daily basis? November 3, 201510 yr Author My go-to's are 2-3 mugs of hot tea in the morning, and a Diet Coke or two in the afternoon/evening. Figures to give-or-take 175 mg of caffeine, depending on the day. (The Mayo Clinic says 400 mg or less is safe for adults.) I just checked, and my mug here at the office is a 15 ouncer. That gives me a little converting to do...and it bumps me up to more like 200 mg, or 250 on a bad day. I'm still happy with that.
November 3, 201510 yr I dont think I have to have a caffeine fix. I do have a cup of coffee in the AM and a Mointain Dew once or twice a day. I could drink a cup of coffee before bed and it would not disprupt my sleep.
November 3, 201510 yr I make coffee at home. I don't measure it in ounces, but I would guess I have around 20oz a day. That's usually the size I'll get if I stop out to get it somewhere. I would guess I'm right around the 400 area.
November 3, 201510 yr I made sure to include that one in the chart for you, Clyde. I do one 20 oz every other day or so. When at home I drink Cherry Pepsi.
November 3, 201510 yr 24 ozs of coffee or so every day. No idea where the caffeine levels fall on mine but I'd imagine it's closer to Starbucks than anything.
November 3, 201510 yr Monday mornings I drink coffee. And every Tuesday and Thursday I'll have a cup of coffee or Cherry Coke before dinner. Otherwise I'll be asleep in my Accounting 225 class at 6:30 pm.
November 3, 201510 yr 2-3 cups (12 oz) of coffee brewed at work and a Monster. So between 629 and 873.
November 3, 201510 yr I drink caffeine free most of the time. The wife can have very little caffeine so everything we drink is caffeine free.
