November 4, 201510 yr I told myself I wasn't going to post on this thread anymore, but you all keep saying things that are just plain wrong. But just to clarify this for everyone, JT is not really considered, at this moment, an NFL draft prospect by anyone. He can certainly work himself into someone that the NFL views as a potential Russell Wilson type QB, but Russell ran a more pro-style offense at Wisconsin and had he not transferred into this kind of offense from NC State he probably would be coaching high school somewhere right now or playing baseball. JT will be at Ohio State through at least next year and most likely 2 years before he considers the NFL.
November 4, 201510 yr I, in no way am making light of this Ridiculous Act of Stupidity on J.T. Barrets actions ... NO Excuse and it should have been punished. Having said that, I personally have to commend Meyer for the one game suspension that was not an OSU mandatory policy. Also, pulling the scholly on Barret for a semester didn't have to be done. 14 pages on an OSU player being an idiot, screwing up. I can't help but wonder how many it would have been should this had been Towles or another U.K. starter ? Absolutely Hilarious, get used to it people, the Buckeyes will be one of the top teams in America on a regular basis..... some can and others just can't accept or deal with it. Hate on !
