I'm not saying NKY should have had those records. I'm saying that when it comes to the largest football class NKY has not had success,regardless of the reasons behind it. This lack of success, especially with the lopsided losses in the finals over the past decade, is the reason people do not expect much from them.

 

Simon Kenton has the chance to prove otherwise, but until they win state or at least play close as runners up then people will only continue to see no credible threat in NKY.

 

Scott County got a similar treatment until they took the title in 2013.

If you consider the average that is correct. However, Male has played and beaten higher ranked schools than SK. Trinity and St. X are better than anyone SK has faced. It is the weaker teams on Male's record that lowers their average. And honestly I do think they scheduled weakly outside of their district and Trinity. It's their performance against stronger teams that earned them respect, not beating the teams they were expected to.

I know your RB played for the Erlanger Lions. I also know you had an OLineman last year that lived in Boone County. Your argument would support our Cooper and Ryle friends though.

Let's be clear on what we are talking about when it comes to fair or good 6A programs. The requirement I am reading from the Louisville posters is if you can't be within a couple touchdowns of Trinity or St X late in the fourth quarter then your 6A program is not good. If that is not what the anti-N. Ky. posters are saying, please define a good 6A program for me.
