October 31, 201510 yr A lot of these candidates will endorse no one when they drop out. Similarly, it's presumptuous to assume that Candidate A's supporters will automatically shift allegiance to Candidate B. I foresee a lot of Repubs sitting on the sidelines when the votes are counted a year from now. Not all Republicans -- especially female Republicans -- hate Hillary like the BGP firebrands do. My man I will take my understanding of the GOP over yours. Your last post was out of a dream world.
October 31, 201510 yr You know I will concede that the wording of the comic villain question put the moderator in the spotlight, but the question was about trump's outlandish campaign, and the statements that seem to make him a caricature. If Hillary has to pay for her inconsistencies Trump needs to answer for his arrogance. Fantasy football question to Christie was relevant. Should gambling in this form be regulated by the government? Christie wormed out because it's not a stance he wants to take. I forgot that wasn't even his question. It was to Jeb and Christie interjected to claim it was a dumb question saying we have more important things to worry about. He did stay with his stance, LB. "Let people play" but he had no reason to whine, and still doesn't because it wasn't his question. Reading Jeb's response I think he enjoyed the question. Maybe a little opportunity to show some personality that Christie crapped on.
October 31, 201510 yr My man I will take my understanding of the GOP over yours. Your last post was out of a dream world. I was a Republican longer than you've been on this earth. Regardless, the No. 1 factor in the '16 election will be whether the Dems can get out their base. If this happens, Hillary wins. If this doesn't happen, GOP has a chance.

If this happens, Hillary wins. If this doesn't happen, GOP has a chance. Anyone that casts a vote for Hillary is voting for a proven liar, by her own admissions in emails. She is more interested in promoting herself than leading the country.
November 1, 201510 yr I was a Republican longer than you've been on this earth. Regardless, the No. 1 factor in the '16 election will be whether the Dems can get out their base. If this happens, Hillary wins. If this doesn't happen, GOP has a chance. Great but that isn't what you said. You said republican voters are going to sit out to help Hilary. With literally zero evidence to support it.
November 1, 201510 yr Anyone that casts a vote for Hillary is voting for a proven liar, by her own admissions in emails. She is more interested in promoting herself than leading the country. Hillary flip-flops on many issues, changing her views according to the popular political wind at the time. I suppose both party candidates do that to a certain degree, but it just seems like she's the worst of the bunch.
November 1, 201510 yr Great but that isn't what you said. You said republican voters are going to sit out to help Hilary. With literally zero evidence to support it. I didn't say GOP voters were going to deliberately help Hillary. I said it's misguided to assume that Paul supporters, for instance, would automatically support Cruz or whomever if Paul were to call it quits. Some will, but many will support no one and decide not to vote for either candidate on election day. Presidential elections are mainly about energizing your base, not about changing minds. As far as "zero evidence," I cite as Exhibit A what's happening in the Kentucky governor's race. It's called lack of enthusiasm.
November 1, 201510 yr Man twotoplace you are ever so right. The KY governor race is like watching paint dry. Many of my friends have no idea who to vote for even if they should. That race is a disaster.
November 2, 201510 yr Hillary flip-flops on many issues, changing her views according to the popular political wind at the time. I suppose both party candidates do that to a certain degree, but it just seems like she's the worst of the bunch. Not sure which she changes more, her "core belief" political stances or her dialect.
