Aaron Rodgers I placed Rodgers 1 because I'm basing it 10 years in the future, and the fact that I hate Tom Brady with a burning passion and my fingers literally wouldn't let me type a 1 next to his name.

October 26, 201510 yr What follows is a list of "modern era" quarterbacks who have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. For starters, one would think any top ten list would have to include Johnny Unitas and Norm Van Brocklin. Troy Aikman 1989-2000 George Blanda (also PK) 1949-1958, 1960-1975 Terry Bradshaw 1970-1983 Len Dawson 1957-1975 John Elway 1983-1998 Dan Fouts 1973-1987 Otto Graham 1946-1955 Bob Griese 1967-1980 Sonny Jurgensen 1957-1974 Jim Kelly 1986-1996 Bobby Layne 1948-1962 Dan Marino 1983-1999 Joe Montana 1979-1994 Warren Moon 1984-2000 Joe Namath 1965-1977 Bart Starr 1956-1971 Roger Staubach 1969-1979 Fran Tarkenton 1961-1978 Y.A. Tittle 1948-1964 Johnny Unitas 1956-1973 Norm Van Brocklin 1949-1960 Bob Waterfield 1945-1952 Steve Young 1985-1999
October 26, 201510 yr Well you have plenty of time to take that lap then :thumb: I didn't intend on making it 10 years from now, but that was the only way I could put Rodgers over Brady and I just didn't want Brady at the top of any list of mine.
October 26, 201510 yr Joe Montana Tom Brady Otto Graham John Elway Johnny Unitas Peyton Manning Bret Favre Dan Marino Aaron Rodgers Fran Tarkenton I was hoping someone would list the greatest QB to ever play. Otto Graham. Played 10 years and led his team to 10 Championship games. No other QB will ever meet that feat.
October 27, 201510 yr I've got Brady #1, Montana #2, Elway #3 and that's all. The rest don't matter to me.
October 27, 201510 yr 1. John Elway 2. Johnny Unitas 3. Joe Montana 4. Tom Brady 5. Otto Graham 6. Bret Favre 7. Dan Marino 8. Aaron Rodgers 9. Peyton Manning 10. Joe Namath
October 27, 201510 yr .... Comparing Otto Graham to a modern day QB is crazy. Their is nothing similar about the sport, their games, their skills, the players around them -- nothing. They only barely play the same position.

They only barely play the same position. Comparing any QB today to any QB 20 years back and more is like comparing apples and oranges. Otto did what you want any QB to do and that is lead your team to championships no matter what era. That has never changed. I'd argue it's easier to be a QB today than it was 50 years ago.

That's just crazy when you consider how the offensive and defensive playcalling has evolved. Back then the power sweep seemed innovative.
