Didn't Courtney Sandfoss play varsity bball and softball her 8th grade year?

 

Courtney played Varsity softball as an 8th grader. It was NewCath's 1st year of fastpitch and there was not one girl who could pitch. The team took a vote and it was unanimous that she be allowed to join the team.

No. NDA it not taking 8th graders.

 

Yet we are to believe an 8th grader "tried out?"

We're talking about 8th graders, it's not an issue. Maybe it was a basketball decision, maybe the family planned on sending her to HC and wanted her in one of their feeder schools. Point being, she's an 8th grader, her parents can send her wherever they want

Ohhhhhh.. I see now Ms. Cleo. YOU are looking into the future. Well heck, why didn't you just say so. Hey, I heard the Goddard School's enrollment is up too.. I guarantee two or more of those toddlers will be on varsity roster for HC one day. ahahahahaahahahah. WHO CARES!

 

Actually Goddard is likely going down with a change in recent ownership but I digress. Carry on....

We said only two are there...for now. We said "hypothetically, what if an aau team did that." Are you saying that only two kids from the aau team played in the summer and more aren't coming as freshman?

 

And that parent hasn't even coached their first game at HC yet right? And that parent has multiple kids that don't go to HC, right? My question is, why don't they all go there then? If it's where they belong. And, if it was where she was supposed to go to school ( because her parent coaches there), why did they wait to pull her out a quarter into the school year and a day after Bball tryouts. Why did not wait until freshman year?

 

You can say inaccuracies all you want. I don't see where anything I said is inaccurate. Maybe it wasn't an entire aau team, because some don't live in the area. But it was a group of aau players that play together and (at the time) were enrolled at other schools. Is that inaccurate?

 

And I couldn't agree more...SHE has done nothing wrong. Always been a good kid.

 

So it sounds like HC hired a coach to bring in kids, possibly from an AAU team to me. Shady-yes, but I certainly have heard this happening at the collegiate level. The funny thing is at that level it is really the coach that is being used to bring in the talent, and then when the talent pool dries up, the coach is gone. I have no idea if that is the case or not, but I am trying to add everything up.

As I said we are. 2 with the same name. I think I have this.

 

1) who lives near HC living wise is totally legit. We all should be very very happy for her Going to be a force.

 

2) A kid left school after trying out and making JV. Picked up and left class and enrolled at HC. She happens to be very close with #1. Played on same aau team and let's say has more real Friends at HC than at her previous school. (which I don't know how is the top academic school in the state-not) please see I said real friends.

 

3) a girl from a private catholic school in that same area as NCC and hcc trys out for nd and either doesn't make it or most likely nd realizes they have more than enough come out for freshman and they cut her lose. She tried ncc ND and then called HC and she is there playing now probably with no intention of going to HC at all.

 

I know of another first hand that's upset about #3 we could see his daughter at HC as she was going to shadow anyway and she is a NDA feeder and by far the best 8th grade athlete going to ND next year from the feeders

Facts? Are you sure the one has "more real friends" at HC. More than she went to school with for 9 years??? Social media may show something different. So I wouldn't say that is even close to fact.

 

And yes, right now there are only two from that aau team. But let's see what happens going forward. And don't tell me it wasn't planned and they just happen to show up there when it happens.
