PRP vs Boyd County - Predictions

Featured Replies

Kinda sad from what my Neighbor told me tonight, is that a local 16th Region team that had already played PRP this year, would not give up game film...

That is sad. Sore Loser.

All coaches are not the same and interact differently with others - both ways:p

Remember the old: "Plays well with others" ???? - or not:D

If it's a one time pique then thats it, if it's a history with many, then maybe it's something else???

From what I've heard the region coaches get along pretty well in football & basketball - Scouting sweet 16 teams, providing info on offenses, working together for the regions kids, etc

Tough draw for Boyd. Good luck Lions, I hope they can pull it out.

Both excellent programs, with tremendous baseball talent. Should be an excellent game.

Game time just can't get here soon enough!!

Im not a PRP fan, but I'll take the Panthers. They have no weaknesses in their line up. One of the best hitting PRP teams in a long time. I dont know much about Boyd this year, but they better have good pitching cause the Ridge will pound the ball.

Two predictions:

1: As much as I hate to say it, I dont think Boyd has had enough competitive games towards the end of the season to pull off this game. Not saying they havent played a competitive season, I know they played a VERY tough schedule. I just think that the "easy" last couple weeks they have had will hurt them this game. I'll go with PRP -6 Boyd -4.

2: If Boyd does win this game, they go on to bring another state championship back to the county and for the 16th region.

Boyd Co. is killing the ball right now they are very hot and they know how to put runs on the board unless PRP puts up some big numbers i expect Boyd to win 7-2 on their way to a state championship.

Agreed 100%. They're post-season schedule has me worried a little. It was beyond there control but I'm still hopeful!

These two teams are very similar. Both teams know how to win at this level and what it takes. Both teams expect to win.

I've seen both teams and think that PRP will win in a good game. Although, I would like to see the County bring it home.

Opening round of state, could be a few jitters coming in to play here!

I take PRP because of a little better strength of schedule and a solid top to bottom lineup. Boyd has had a great season though and could easily come away with a victory.

Regarding video for baseball, I would love to be able to watch video of a pitcher or key hitters leading up to a state tournament.

The Russell vs PRP game was not video taped.

You definately need to question your source. Especially, before you start calling names. Not only was the Russell vs PRP game not taped, but Martino and Maynard help each other out a lot.

I have a PRP program you can take a look at if you would like. I can tell you this. Troy Frazier is the centerfielder and has lots -o- power. Justin Witt is the 2nd baseman and plays with 120% effort all the time. He's one of those guys that goes home dirty every game.

Does Osborne still pitch or just play shortstop for PRP and is he the starting SS for them?
