Hard to quantify a OLinemen statistically for Mr. Football though

 

Lock for All-State 1st Team... but for an individual honor hard to give ti to someone who doesn't post stats...especially when he has two other D-1 linemen next to him.

It's a great honor...but how do you differentiate between him, Drake Jackson, and teammate Jedrick Willis (who will be getting one his own next year)?

 

How about against a Kash Daniel who has an All-American jersey but has the stats you can see?

 

It' s just tough to quantify linemen for this type of honor.

I am a big Kash Daniel fan but I have to agree.

 

Had Daniel been able to play in the Semi-Finals and Paintsville somehow advanced to win a Title I think Kash wins it.... possibly the same could have been said for Q Baker.

 

If Hall wins his his 2nd straight title over a great Bowling Green team the trophy should be his.

Matt Elam got that same jersey and couldn't win Mr. Football as a 4-star/5-star lineman.

Daric Pugh stats for 2014 9 games 142 carries 1335 yards(9.4 per carry) for 148 per game 24 tds for average 17.6 per game both first in 1 A 2015 13 games 173 carries 1 826 yards (10.5 yards per carry) for an average 140 per game first in 1A scoring 33 TDs 228 total points while averaging 17.5 points per game so for two years Pugh has led these categories in 1A and is fourth in scoring and top ten in rushing over all classes. How could he not be considered if anyone in 1A is ?

If the award is to the best senior player in Kentucky, it goes to Kash Daniel.
